Overview and scope

This Privacy Policy applies to Altavelle's mobile application, related web pages, and services that link to this policy. Altavelle provides AI-powered character conversations, interactive stories, character creation, community discovery, voice experiences, and account features.

Information we collect

Account and profile information

When you create or use an account, we may process information such as your email address, sign-in provider, display name, profile image, age confirmation, language, region, and preferences. If you sign in through Apple, Google, or Facebook, we receive only the account information that provider makes available under your settings and its terms.

Conversations and content

We process prompts, messages, story choices, character definitions, images you choose to upload, voice settings, published works, reports, feedback, and other content you submit. This information is needed to generate responses, maintain conversation context, provide memory features you enable, and operate community features.

Usage, device, and diagnostics

We may collect app interactions, feature usage, subscription status, crash information, device type, operating system, app version, approximate network information, installation identifiers, push notification tokens, and advertising or attribution identifiers where permitted by your device settings and applicable law.

Purchases

Google Play processes Android payments. We may receive transaction identifiers, product and entitlement information, price and currency, and purchase status so that we can provide and restore subscriptions or digital items. We do not receive your full payment-card details from Google Play.

How we use information

• Provide accounts, authentication, conversations, stories, character creation, voice, memory, community, and support features.
• Personalize recommendations and help you resume saved conversations and story progress.
• Process purchases, maintain entitlements, and prevent fraud or misuse.
• Send service messages and, when enabled, notifications about relevant activity or recommendations.
• Measure performance, diagnose crashes, understand feature usage, and improve reliability.
• Moderate content, investigate reports, enforce product rules, and protect users and the service.
• Comply with legal obligations and respond to valid legal requests.

AI processing

Your messages, selected character context, relevant conversation history, and enabled memories may be processed to produce AI-generated replies and story content. Depending on the feature, this may include text, image, or voice processing. We use only the context needed to operate the requested experience and related safety systems.

AI output can be inaccurate or inappropriate and should not be treated as professional advice or as a statement from a real person. You can report a message or character through the available in-app controls.

Sharing and service providers

We may share information with service providers that help us operate Altavelle, only for the relevant business purpose and subject to appropriate terms. Current integrations in the app may include:

We may also disclose information to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or complete a corporate transaction subject to applicable safeguards. We do not sell full payment-card information because we do not receive it.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain your account, meet legal and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the service. Retention may vary by data type and feature. Deleted information may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is legally required.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures intended to protect information. No online service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a strong, unique password and protect access to your device and sign-in accounts.

Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information. Altavelle includes controls for privacy and data, account deletion, notifications, conversation or memory management, content visibility, and safety reporting.

• Manage app notifications through Altavelle and your device settings.
• Manage advertising identifiers and certain analytics permissions through device controls where available.
• Use the in-app Privacy & Data area to request an export or account deletion.
• Use Help & Feedback in the app for privacy questions or requests that cannot be completed through self-service controls.

We may need to verify your request and may retain limited information where required by law, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate recordkeeping needs.

Adults, international processing, and changes

Altavelle is designed for adults aged 18 and older and is not directed to children. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, contact us through the in-app Help & Feedback flow.

Information may be processed in countries other than where you live. Where required, appropriate safeguards are used for international transfers. We may update this policy as the product, providers, or legal requirements change. The effective date at the top identifies the latest revision.
